With over 45 years of experience, he has held various key positions in a dealership including Dealer Principal, General Manager, GSM, and Finance Director.
Jim reached the pinnacle of his career as Director of Compliance for the Hendrick Automotive Group, overseeing compliance operations for 100 dealerships and 11,000 employees. His tenure at Hendrick Automotive Group was marked by his unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct, ensuring the organization's continued success and reputation for integrity, transforming compliance from a dreaded process into a positive experience by proactively identifying issues and providing training, helping them to prevent potential penalties, and fostering a culture of accountability.
After retiring from Hendrick, Jim founded Automotive Compliance Assessment (ACA) to assist smaller dealer groups and single-point dealerships with their compliance efforts. ACA offers comprehensive services tailored to the dealership's needs, including risk assessment, training, and ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance excellence. With a focus on “compliant production” and continued support. ACA is committed to helping dealerships navigate complex regulatory requirements and maintain integrity in their operations.
